Day 1 Recovery Center was founded on the belief that lasting recovery requires more than treatment alone. Many parents actively participate in outpatient treatment while still struggling with homelessness, instability, and uncertainty about the future.
Without a safe environment to practice the skills learned in treatment, lasting change can be difficult to sustain. Recovery is not built in a single counseling session — it is built through daily choices, healthy routines, accountability, and community support.
At Day 1, we provide stable interim housing where participants strengthen recovery skills, build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and create the foundation needed for long-term success.
